The Executive Support Officers to the First Assistant Secretary, Population Health Division and Assistant Secretary's Health Equity Branch and Preventive Health and Food Branch will professionally manage internal and external relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Maintaining close working relationships with the Senior Executive Service (SES), the Minister’s office, divisional and branch representatives is paramount to the success of this role.

The Executive Support Officer will demonstrate drive and initiative to provide high level strategic support to senior staff on a wide range of complex organisational issues in a fast paced and often time constrained environment.

Tasks vary depending on operational requirements and may include writing and proofing of briefs, summary statements of complex documents and secretariat services for executive meetings and forums.

This is a position of trust that requires sound judgement and exemplary levels of personal integrity, sensitivity, confidentiality and discretion.
