**The Role**
As the Commercial Manager, you will be an integral member of the Future Air Mobility Systems Program Office (FAMSPO) Commercial and Contracting Team.
You will work on differing platforms at various stages of their Capability Life Cycle, and be involved in the future strengthening of the air mobility capability and acquisition of new aircraft. You will assist with and advise on procurement planning, tendering, and contract formation activities across the breadth of FAMSPO, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.

**About our Team**
FAMSPO is an acquisition System Program Office, within the Capability Acquisition & Sustainment Group (CASG) delivering air mobility capabilities to support combat, humanitarian, diplomatic and peace-keeping operations. Under the Force Structure Plan 2020, the Australian Government plans to invest up to $50 billion to strengthen the ADF’s air mobility capability over the next 20 years.

FAMSPO’s current project suite includes:

- Delivering capabilities to support the operation of the C-27J as a light tactical fixed wing aircraft that can conduct humanitarian missions;
- Air Mobility Capability Assurance Program (AMCAP) - a programmatic approach to deliver capability assurance to the ADF Air Mobility platforms, addressing emerging capability gaps by delivering upgrades and enhancements as required across the Air Mobility fleet;
- Providing project support to Heavy Airlift Systems Program Office (HALSPO) to ensure the ongoing provision of Defence’s air transport service for Government; and
- Replace and expand the current medium air mobility fleet.

This role is part of the FAMSPO Commercial and Contracting Team, located at Brindabella Business Park, ACT.
- An understanding of Defence and CASG’s procurement policy;
- An ability to advise on commercial risk, legal principles and contractual performance requirements;
- An ability to draft and review contracting correspondence including complex, commercially sensitive reports, submissions, contract change proposals and other documents as required;
- High level organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines;
- An ability to work productively with limited guidance and supervision;
- A strong teamwork skills and a commitment to being an active member of a high performing and agile team;
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities; and
- An ability to develop and maintain good internal and external relationships.
