Our well-known client urgently seeking for a Community Transport Driver. The job requires collecting and returning vehicles and equipment needed each day from assigned depots.

Complying with Workplace Health and safety management system, and ensuring compliance with all site safety rules, policies and procedures, and relevant legislation is mandatory. Adhere to all safety instructions, you will be participating in risk assessments, incident investigations and safety training.

**About the Role**:

- Navigating and timing journeys and keeping records as per procedures
- Maintaining two-way contact with the Operations Team as specified in training
- Helping with vehicle condition monitoring and vehicle upkeep, particularly the shuttling of vehicles to service appointments
- Responding to emergency situations during your shift
- Ad hoc administrative and vehicle related tasks as requested including vehicle cleaning
- Responsibility of safe work practices
- Ensuring compliance with all site safety rules, policies and procedures, and relevant legislation
- Reporting WHS matters - Identify and report issues, incidents, near-misses, injuries, and hazards in the workplace immediately
- Ensure self and others are provided with, appropriately wear, and maintain personal protective equipment where required

**Requirement (Selection Criteria)**:

- Valid and current full (non-probationary) manual driver’s license -Light rigid or higher-level licence is a strong advantage
- At least 2 years full time (or equivalent) experience and current competence in: Driving medium and/or large vehicles, preferably buses.
- Possession of or ability to obtain CPVV or Bus Safety Victoria Accreditation.
- Satisfactory last 5 years driving history check.
- Satisfactory Police Check
- Working With Children Check clearance.
- NDIS employment clearances
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

- Ability to meet compliance standards
- Responsible for meeting quality standards
- Take responsibilities of the jobs demand
