Sew it Seams is looking for an experienced seamstress, alterations and/or tailor assistant to join our store in Fremantle

**The Role**:
You will be working closely with the business owner & operator. However, you must be able to work independently. Your task will involve greeting and serving customers as they come in and booking in their job. You must havepeople skills and be able to deliver personalised, friendly and warm service to our customers.

You will also be required to help the clients with fittings, as youwill be working hands-on with the client & provide clothing advice on how to alter their garments. You must have sound knowledge of the service you are providing to ensure the client is comfortable and happy with what you will do for them.

**Experience required;**
- Sewing experience on the industrial machine will be considered an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage
- Previous experience in customer service
- Ability to work individually and well as part of a team to achieve targeted results.
- The ability to learn quickly and retain information regarding product knowledge and business services
- Hard-working with strong multi-tasking skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good written, verbal and computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure but efficiently
- Strong Time Management skills to ensure tasks and appointments are completed efficiently

Training will be provided (ongoing learning & knowledge of sewing skills and techniques will be provided on the job continuously from the owner).

**Job Types**: Contract, Commission, Casual, Subcontract

- Monday to Friday
