The Sporting Globe is seeking a hard-working and vibrant Line Cook and Chefs to provide support to the team at our venue. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for customer service, consistency, teamwork and producing great quality products.

**Roles and Requirements**
- To ensure that all meals are cooked in a manner that adheres to the venues recipe & plating guides as well as ensuring all meals are served in a timely manner and are of the highest possible quality.
- Ensuring staff are allocated sections and secondary duties throughout their shifts, as well as managing general kitchen operations in conjunction with the head chef.
- To maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen, that adheres to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines. Also ensuring staff are following the kitchen cleaning systems
- Possesses experience and demonstrates competency, and actively participates in all technical aspects of cooking; including but not limited to grilling, deep frying, shallow frying, meat, seafood, and poultry
- Participate and preparation, cooking and presentation of all menu items with an attention to detail and adherence to standards, working across all kitchen stations including prep, fry, grill, line, salad and dessert stations
- Cleaning and organising the kitchen and stock holding areas
- Occupational Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness is maintained to Sporting Globe standards
- Helping the head chef to improve current menu items and to develop specials and LTO's (limited time offers)
- Stock orders, Delivery receipts, temperature logs etc.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in a hotel, restaurant, or pub environment
- Passion for providing exceptional quality food to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Commitment to upholding our brand standards, OH&S and food hygiene procedures.
- Energetic attitude, a team player approach and a strong work ethic
- The ability to excel under pressure and during busy service periods whilst maintaining great food service standards
- Availability across a variety of shifts with a rotating 7-day roster. We are more than happy to accommodate requests around school timetables/second jobs
