**About us**
An exciting opportunity exists for a Dispute Resolution Officer to join a team supporting the operation of the Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV).
Dispute Services is a multi-dispute agency within the Department of Justice and Community Safety which includes the Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDV) and the Dispute Settlement Centre Victoria (DSCV).
**About the role**
Reporting to a Lead Officer within the Client Services team, the Dispute Resolution Officer (DRO) will conduct and deliver an assessment and analysis of individual cases by working with parties to resolve disputes.
The DRO will provide appropriate and timely case management utilising a range of dispute resolution techniques and approaches to ensure high quality service is offered by DBDRV.
**About you**
- an ability to interpret legislation and Acts
- National Mediator Accreditation and in a dispute resolution setting (desirable)
- experience in the triage and assessment of disputes, case management, and facilitative settlement
- an ability to be client focussed and build strong relationships and develop an understanding of others in order to motivate them and confidently address conflict situations.

- **COVID-19 digital certificate or ATAGI exemption certificate (available via your **myGov** account)**
- **Your immunisation history statement (available via your **myGov** account)**
Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
