**Position: Pet Sitter**

**Location: Chapel Hill and Surrounds**

As a Pet Sitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of pets while their owners are away. Your responsibilities will include:
**Dog Walking**: Taking dogs for regular walks, ensuring they get the exercise and fresh air they need to stay active and happy.

**House Visits**: Visiting clients' homes to provide feeding, water, and companionship to pets. This includes cleaning litter boxes, replenishing food and water, and spending quality time with the animals.

**Overnight Pet Sitting**: Staying overnight at clients' homes to provide a comfortable and safe environment for pets. This includes feeding, administering medication if necessary, and providing companionship during the evening and morning hours.

**Basic Grooming**: Basic grooming tasks such as brushing and bathing to ensure pets are clean and comfortable.

**Observation and Communication**: Monitoring pets for any changes in behaviour, health, or appetite and promptly reporting any concerns to pet owners.

**Qualifications**:

- Genuine love and compassion for animals.
- Prior experience in pet care, such as pet sitting, dog walking, or working at a pet shelter is preferred.
- Ability to handle and manage pets of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Reliable and responsible nature, with excellent time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills to keep pet owners updated on their pets' well-being.
- Basic knowledge of pet first aid and emergency procedures is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Job Type**: Subcontract

**Salary**: $400.00 - $600.00 per week
