**About this Opportunity**

This is a Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position. We are seeking a team-oriented individual to take up the position of **Quality Coordinator **in our Harvey Laboratory team. You must also have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team. The key focus of this role is to lead the development and implementation of the food safety fundamentals of the site, including HACCP, customer requirements, and Quality Management systems.

Reporting to the Quality Manager your duties will include:

- Conduct investigations, monitor, take corrective actions and report on all quality and process related issues to ensure continuous improvement, ensuring that quality of all products manufactured at site meet all regulatory, statutory and company specifications.
- Analyse data and report performance and compliance to product quality management programs.
- Provide technical expertise in relation to result interpretation where required.
- Investigate and assist with determining root cause of quality failures and assist with the implementation of corrective actions.
- Review customer requirements / customer complaints
- Conduct audits, inspections and reviews and maintain quality systems, document standards and processes for milk quality and compliance.
- Facilitate/ oversee site compliance requirements ( NIP verification, AMRA sampling, etc)
- Maintaining and reviewing Food Safety Plan including HACCP
- Conduct and oversee the training plan for site in regards with Quality and Compliance training in appropriate methods and procedures.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Preferably with Certificate IV in Food Processing or Degree or Associate Diploma in Science or Food Science or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Food Industry / Dairy Operation
- Experience in Quality Management Systems and exposure to internal auditing
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to trouble-shoot and problem solve
- Results orientation
