If you’ve worked in a dental practice before, you know the rhythm of the day. You’re calm under pressure, organised, and great with people—whether you're assisting chairside or welcoming patients at the front desk.

At **HD Dental Studio**, we’re a well-established, modern dental clinic in Mount Gravatt with over 40 years of trusted service to the community. We offer a full range of general and advanced services, including preventative, restorative, cosmetic, implants, Invisalign and orthodontics.

As our practice grows, we’re looking for an experienced **Dental Assistant**to join our supportive team in a **casual role**, with the potential for a **permanent part-time position** for the right applicant.

**When we need you**:

- **2-3 weekdays** (ideally **Monday, Wednesday and Friday**)
- **Wednesday availability until 7:00-7:30pm is essential**:

- Flexibility for other days and evening finishes (Mon-Thurs) is highly regarded
- Casual to start, with opportunity for permanent part-time

**About the Role**:
This is an all-rounder position with a strong focus on clinical chairside assisting, combined with reception and admin support as needed. You’ll be stepping into a respectful, professional, and friendly environment where your contributions matter.
- **Duties include**:_
- Chairside assisting (general, cosmetic and surgical procedures)
- Infection control, sterilisation, and room setup
- Front desk support including patient communication, bookings, and payments
- Supporting the team and helping the day run smoothly
- Creating a calm and professional experience for every patient

**What We're Looking For**:

- **Dental assisting experience is essential**:

- Reception or admin experience is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Professional, friendly, and calm under pressure
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation
- A flexible team player who takes initiative
- Must have current Australian work rights

Pay: $28.50 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mount Gravatt QLD 4122: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Application Question(s):

- Must be flexible with hours to begin with. Hours will vary throughout the week depending on business needs.
- Availability Requirements

Must be available to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Must be able to work early mornings from 7:30am

Must be available for late finishes up to twice a week (between 6:00pm-7:30pm)

Wednesday evening availability is essential (finish at approximately 7:00pm)

**Experience**:

- Dental Assitant: 1 year (preferred)
