QA Manager

The Brisbane Produce Market is Queensland's only central fruit and vegetable market, and the state's most important centre for the wholesale marketing and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables. It records an annual trade in excess of 700 million kilograms of produce valued at more than $2 billion. As a representative of these employers, Brismark is currently searching for an energetic and motivated person to fill a Quality Assurance Manager role for a successful and respected Wholesale business. This is a **full time** role. Roster is **Monday to Friday**, starting between 5am and 7am each day. The duties include: - management of audit compliance to both customer and legislative requirements (HACCP, HARPS, SQF, SEDEX, Dept Agriculture Export Compliance) - maintain a program of internal audits, calibrations, produce testing and an Approved Supplier Program - delivering training to staff in GMP, Food Safety, WHS and production activities (i.e. product grading) - communication with external stakeholders including trade partners, suppliers and customers The successful applicant must: - Have good time management skills and the ability to multitask - Be physically fit, able to do manual work as this is a "hands on" role - Have good attention to detail - Possess excellent communication skills, including experience with Microsoft Office - Hold a **current drivers licence** with own transport - Be well presented, reliable, enjoy working as part of a team and be able to work unsupervised - Have previous experience in a quality control position, especially in fruit and vegetables and/or food export - Possess a **forklift licence** **Salary**: From $75,000.00 per year Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Weekend availability **Experience**: - Fresh Produce: 2 years (preferred) - Quality Control: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Forklift Licence (preferred) - Driver's Licence (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
