Supply Chain Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, and distribution.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders for both inbound and outbound shipments (international).
- Interface with end-users to coordinate service-related tasks and ensure customer satisfaction.

International Supplier Coordination:

- Collaborate with suppliers across global markets, to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Understand and navigate customs clearance processes with mínimal reliance on customs brokers.

Inventory Management:

- Monitor and manage weekly inventory levels for items with extended lead times.
- Ensure effective stock level management to prevent production disruptions.

MRP Analysis and Support:

- Conduct MRP (Material Requirements Planning) analysis to assist the Purchasing Officer.
- Manage Goods Receiving Notes (GRNs) and follow up on critical production components until receipt of goods.
- Enter and update MRP data, including safety stock levels, supplier lead times, dispatch times, transportation durations, and internal processing times.
- Assist with raising purchase orders and other procurement-related tasks as needed.

Work Order Management:

- Oversee Work Order Management within the ERP system, ensuring accurate consumption of materials and serialized items.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Support the Production Manager with cost analysis and reporting for Finished Goods.
- Manage the inflow of goods through GRNs, ensuring accuracy in product details and quantities in collaboration with the Finance and Research Departments.
- Participate quarterly stocktakes and ensure compliance with financial and audit standards.
- Work with Finance & Business team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments related to logistics and procurement.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Visa: Permanent Visa Holder or Australian Citizen preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of international supply chain processes and customs clearance.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Supply Chain field.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
