We're looking for an experienced manager to guide our team with passion and keep the shop humming along through summer and beyond.

About Your Role

Part time or full time available, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. We need a leader who can jump in to fill any rostering gaps that may come up on weekends, but generally you'll be working during the week.

Prior experience in a hospitality role is preferred but not necessary for applicants with experience managing a retail envirionent. People who will thrive in this role have excellent organisational skills, and an enthusiasm for customer service.

This is a customer facing and team management role for someone who is passionate about our brand ethos. We value sustainability, ethically sourced ingredients, creating quality products and approachable service. To be successful in this role you will have exceptional organisational and leadership skills as well as a positive attitude when it comes to building team relationships. Best suited for someone who is solution focused rather than problem focused.

The role includes:

- Maintaining store organisation, cleaning and weekly stocktake
- Ensuring a high level of customer service and leading by example in building a rapport with our regular customers
- Overseeing the quality control of our product including how we serve it
- Training staff and covering shifts when needed, creating regular systems & processes
- Contributing to the innovation and direction of our product offerings and in-store experience
- Play an active role in developing a strong and friendly culture
- Staff discount on all of our products plus a free scoop at the end of your shift

Application Requirements

A successful applicant will have prior experience managing, want to get to know our regular customers, and have values aligned to our own: (Community, Sustainability, Quality and Enjoyment/fun).
You’ll be intuitive and understand how to put these values into every action you take from minimising waste, being generous with your personality and attention to customer needs to finding ways to encourage other staff to engage in this way.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re the kind of person who has initiative regarding cleaning, organisation and anticipation of production schedule.
