**The Opportunity**

The AH-64E Apache is the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.

We are seeking an experienced **Configuration Management Specialist** to support the AH-64E Apache Helicopter program. This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with technical/engineering/Defence knowledge to provide a vital contribution in an important product governance role; ensuring that configuration of the Apache helicopter is suitably documented, traceable and managed using CM principles.

This role is based at Gallipolli Barracks, Enoggera.
- Manage and maintain the program's product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration.
- Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and ensure that engineering change is managed in a controlled manner.
- Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration and data management plans, processes, systems and tools.
- Maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements
- Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.

**To be considered for the role**
- Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management.
- Formal Configuration Management training / certification advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards.
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a Defence environment using Defence systems and tools.
