**Join the team at Kitchens on the Run - Australia's leading hirer of portable commercial kitchens and food service facilities.**
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and reliable **Cleaning and Maintenance General Hand** to support the cleanliness, maintenance, and preparation of our fleet of portable kitchens and auxiliary units.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Service and Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring our kitchens are clean, compliant, and maintained to Class 1 hygiene standards. You’ll be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and general labour. You’ll also support equipment installations, supervise contractors, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our workshop and site operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Commercial cleaning and general maintenance of portable kitchens and equipment
- Performing minor repairs to kitchen fleet
- Preparing kitchens for hire and overseeing unit customisation
- Managing equipment movements and subcontractor coordination onsite
- Monitoring cleanliness and hygiene in line with industry standards
- Responding to urgent repair/service requests and taking service calls as needed
- Travel interstate when required
- Work with KOR Operations Coordinator to do installs and removals VIC and Interstate
- Complying with all workplace health and safety policies
- Average of 50% cleaning and 50% maintenance

**You’ll bring**:

- Experience in commercial cleaning and maintenance
- Experience in hospitality or food-grade environments preferred
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- **Forklift Licence (highly desirable)**:

- Knowledge of OH&S and HACCP requirements
