Receptionist/administration

Nexus Sports is a company deeply ingrained in the Indoor Sport and Children's Recreation industry within QLD and ACT. We operate 4 Action Indoor Sports and Inflatable World venues (3 in QLD, 1 in ACT), as well as a Sports Apparel + Equipment business.

Nexus Sports is an inclusive workplace, with the role based out of Head Office in Cornubia, QLD. The role will be on site, from 9:30am - 2:30pm, so the applicant can facilitate school drop-off/pickups if required. There is also free parking on site. We are a relaxed office with a casual dress code and very comfortable working conditions.

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist/Administrator to assist in streamlining our incoming customer communication processes. The primary role is the receptionist task list including managing inbouicd and outbound calls, inboxes and customer queries via socials. There are additional hours available should the applicant have some experience in basic bookkeeping or the desire to learn.

The successful applicant will be required to:
Receptionist
- Manage incoming call volumes, including taking bookings, call triaging and providing customer assistance over the phone.
- Manage socials inboxes

Bookkeeping
- Raise internal and external invoices
- Data Entry (financial + Point of Sales)
- Bank account reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable.

General
- Reporting for Managing Director and Chief of Operations.
- Data Collection + direct marketing through existing channels.
- Offer feedback + ideas to the Media and Operations executives.

Qualifications:

- Sporting Interest - Preferred
- Experience in administration
- Experience in finance software
- Blue Card - or ability to attain one
- Good communication skills with directors, staff, customers and suppliers
- Self-motivated
- Ability to manage own workflow

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
