**Role Description/Criteria**

Learning Support Officer (co-educator).

In partnership with our children, staff, parents, parish and the wider community, Holy Cross Primary School gives witness to the Christian faith in our Catholic tradition. This is a fixed-term position classified under the 2022 CEMEA as Education Support Category B (dependent on prior experience and skills). The hours of employment for this position will be 20 hours spread over five days.

**This position will commence on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.**

**Special Requirements**
- understanding of wellbeing strategies to support learning
- experience in and practical understanding of differentiated learning whereby all students within a classroom can learn effectively, regardless of differences in ability
- a passion for building strong partnerships between our families and school
- a willingness to be open and responsive to new learning
- Certificate III or IV qualification in Educational Support or equivalent (preferred)
