St Michael’s Grammar School is seeking a passionate, inspiring and dedicated Junior School Teacher. This is a full-time, 12-month, fixed-term opportunity, commencing Semester 1 2026.

This position is dedicated to creating and delivering engaging, evidence-informed teaching, learning, and caring programs in the Junior School. We seek an educator who:

**Key Requirements**

The successful applicant will:

- Be a qualified Junior School Teacher with current VIT registration.
- Actively engage in all aspects of school life, contributing to a vibrant and connected learning community.
- Have proven experience in inquiry-based learning, fostering student agency, engagement, and higher-order thinking.
- Use evidence-based literacy and numeracy programs to ensure students achieve strong foundational skills.
- Be confident in differentiating learning to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Demonstrate clear, adaptive communication skills, ensuring curriculum and classroom practice are responsive and inclusive.
- Model exemplary classroom practice, using innovative and effective teaching strategies that reflect current research in pedagogy.
