**Location **Masada College is located in St Ives in Sydney’s leafy North Shore; a 20-minute drive
from the central business district of Sydney.
This role is required on campus during Term Time Monday to Friday during term time.

About the Role & Key Responsibilities
**Summary **The PE Teacher (Junior School) at Masada College will join our energetic Junior School
team in teaching students from K-6 the understanding, skills and attributes needed to
take action to protect and enhance their own and others’ health, safety and wellbeing.
**Role**
**Accountabilities**:
- Ability to teach PE classes to K-6 students
- Collaborate and assist with the development of innovative programmes that
align with the NSW syllabus for the relevant year group
- Knowledge of curricula and NESA syllabus requirements
- Assist with the coordination of training sessions for after school sport in the
Junior School
- Assist with the coordination of carnivals in the Junior School
- Attendance at Junior School carnivals Interhouse, HICES, HZSA, AICES and
NSW CIS where Masada is required to provide staff
- Attend and participation in Parent/Teacher evenings (online and in person)
- Liaise with Class Teachers and the Learning Support Teams in assising
students who require different approaches to learning
- Attend and support College Professional Learning programs
