**About the Job**:
Fastrak Fabrication and Engineering on behalf of our valid Blue Chip client is currently seeking an Experienced and Motivated DIDO Safety Advisor,

The Safety Advisor will be responsible for working closely with Industrial Services, Blue Collar and Construction site employees to promote and ensure safe work practices are carried out at all times.
- Ability to positively promote a safe working culture and Zero Incident policy.
- Administering OH&S reports and actions as per company OH&S and safety policies and procedures.
- Assisting with management of Safety procedures in liaison with the HR team, Project managers and site mobilisation team.
- Auditing relevant information to ensure compliance to KPI's.
- Liaison with Clients Safety Representatives on project construction items and Site requirements.
- Actively analysing Company Safety performance.
- Chairing toolbox meetings when required.
- Attending Client/Company Safety meetings as required.
- Assisting with the coordination of training programs including the maintenance of competency standards of all employees.
- Conduction Safety inspections and audits including follow up on completed actions.
- Providing all necessary assistance to the company on Safety issues

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in Road Construction Work (Main Roads Experience Beneficial but Not essential).
- Experience Managing and Administering Traffic Control by Contractors and Direct Employees.
- Experience in an Advisory/Coordinator capacity.
- Strong auditing and Safety systems skills.
- Excellent communication and team work skills.
- Positive and proactive approach to safety.
- Proven experience in coaching and promoting safety behavioural programs.
- Strong Computer skills.
- Construction site experience.

The ability to communicate assertively and effectively with Management, Trades employees and Client representatives and the ability to be influential and persuasive in dealings with others will ensure your success in this position.
