**About the role**

Here at RACQ Insurance we have an exciting fixed-term opportunity within our Product and Distribution team. The Manager Product Governance will be responsible for supporting the product and partnerships teams with developing and maintaining insurance portfolio risk management and product governance frameworks, to ensure they comply with regulatory requirements and are fit for purpose. This role will further collaborate with stakeholders across the business as well as first line risk teams to provide support and strategic advice on risk, controls, impacts and considerations for the business.

This role is a 9-month fixed term contract to cover for a parental leave, Reporting to the General Manager of Product and Distribution. This is a hybrid role from Eight Mile Plains office, is full-time, with a genuine possibility of extension.

Your key duties will include:

- Build and maintain constructive relationships with industry experts, other external stakeholders and key regulatory bodies.
- Consider existing regulatory requirements along with emerging regulatory frameworks and provide strategic advice on impacts and key considerations for the end-to-end business.
- Implementation and adherence to the Operational and Compliance Risk Management Frameworks.
- Engage and report to stakeholders on product monitoring and action plans.
- Develop and maintain a nuanced understanding of regulatory impacts, competitive market, industry dynamics and broader trends that impact on members.

**About you**

We are looking for an experienced product or portfolio professional to contribute to a high-performing division within a purpose-led organisation. As a manager, you will be passionate and skilled at stakeholder engagement, creating positive and influential relationships with business partners, managers, and executive levels. You will be able to navigate industry challenges and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within a product environment, across either insurance or other financial services industry.
- At least five to seven years relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage in complex environments and translate key elements for clear commercial decision making
- Excellent interpersonal skills including influential stakeholder engagement
