**Your new company**

Hays are proud to partner with a community-based organisation that provides a range of services and programs to support disadvantaged members of the Maroochydore area and surrounds. We are seeking a part-time temporary Accounts Payable Officer to join the finance team for 3 days per week for 3-4 months, with a possibility for extension.

**Your new role**

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Processing, verifying and reconciling invoices from suppliers and other creditors
- Making timely and accurate payments to suppliers and other creditors
- Monitoring accounts and outgoings and ensuring compliance with budget and policies
- Responding to financial queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining records and reports of accounts payable transactions and activities

**What you'll need to succeed**
- At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role
- Proficiency in MYOB or similar program
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and a commitment to the company values and mission
