**What are we looking for?**
- Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Cert 3 Engineering Trade)
- Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG, food production or similar)
- Advanced mechanical fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Welding experience preferable
- Ability to operate general workshop machine tools E.g. Lathe, mill, drill
- Strong focus on the customer and other people, their concerns and requirements, with a proactive attitude to assisting them
- PC literacy skills

**What will be your key responsibilities?**
- Maintaining and improving the complete site for manufacturing equipment, utilities, building maintenance etc
- Complying with quality, housekeeping, safety and cleaning procedures.
- Works in a safe manner consistent with company safety policy & processes. Ensure Department Safety procedures/requirements are met. These include LOTO, Accident investigations and Department Safety Toolbox attendance.
- Adhere to all GMP's, HACCP Standards and Quality procedures.
- Carry out routine planned and preventive maintenance, as well as building and strengthening the maintenance programs we have in place
- Be comfortable filling all required paperwork related to safety, quality, contractor management etc
