Australian Rail Technology (ART) have an amazing opportunity for a Technician to join our service team in Asquith to perform manufacture servicing and repair of train systems.
For the ideal person, your skills and talent in mechanical devices will see you succeed in delivering this critical and growing role. Through your ability to assimilate technical information and keen eye for detail, you will demonstrate your capabilities, particularly in helping us to continue our growth.
You are able to troubleshoot problems and work with our engineers assist our railway customers.
**About the Role**:
Due to market growth and opportunity is now available for a full time Technician based in Asquith NSW. To be responsible for production, overhaul, repair and testing of products, including:
- Electrical systems
- Wiring
- Electronics Assembly
- Electro-Mechanical Assembly
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Follow Documentation and processes
- Ensure that work standards, safe work and environmental protection practices are maintained
- Complete production documentation including repair reports and work orders.

- Ability to follow and develop procedures
- Capable of undertaking overhaul assembly and testing of electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge and understanding of technical information and drawings
- Ability to prepare service reports
- Highly Desirable:_
- Experience with system operation and fault diagnosis and repair ofelectro
- mechanical assembles
- pneumatics systems
- Forklift Licence
- Desirable:_
- Experience with repair of electronics equipment - e.g soldering surface mount components
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 or similar environment
**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Asquith, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
