**YOUR NEW ROLE**

This position has responsibility to sell, serve and assist customers arriving for guided tours and experiences within the Sydney Opera House (**SOH**). This position provides the highest quality of service to trade clients, general public, SOH business partners and other SOH departments.

**ARE YOU THE ONE?**

Key Responsibilities/skills:

- This role is expected to maintain a current knowledge of SOH events and public works activities in order to provide information on a range of performances, events, the building and other attractions to assist in the sale of SOH products and services.
- The position holder must possess highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. They must be articulate, and have appropriate presentation skills that will successfully promote and confirm bookings for SOH tourism products.
- The position holder is required to have strong administrative skills, be proficient in the usage of credit cards, and have the ability to accurately handle and reconcile cash and accounts.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of customer service principles with a hospitality focus is essential to the role, as well as the ability to balance diverse client expectations.
- The position holder is required to work with limited supervision and in a responsible manner.
- Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office desirable, as is prior use of the Tessitura system.
