**Who You Are**:
- 3+ years experience in retail merchandise planner role
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to think critically and problem solve within a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- High analytical proficiency with proven capability in strategic planning and identifying anticipated market changes, growth opportunities, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Excel
**What You'll Do**:
- **Lead **the accurate and up to date OTB position for the optimisation of the business, continually updating the Buyer and GM on risks and opportunities.
- **Support **the commercial objectives of the Stateside Sports retail business through effective analysis, business understanding and tangible recommendations.
- **Manage** the product lifecycle through the Code Creation, Purchase Order and Allocation Processes, ensuring stores are also supported when required.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the relevant stakeholders are provided with regular analysis of trading and merchandise performance. Provide commercial recommendations to drive sales and margin improvement.
- Ensure the OTB document is updated weekly and presented to the GM monthly. Make sure all relevant information is up to date and accurate in the system. Including sales and margin forecasts, future orders, SOH and store count. Including unplanned openings.
- Be responsible for managing the stock process after a buy is submitted. Ensure stock is planned and allocated in the correct month to reflects the OTB.
- Work closely with the Merchandise Buyer to ensure accurate buys are submitted. Be aware of the Buying critical path, process, and deadlines.
- Present the Post Seasonal Analysis to Merchandise Buyer and GM half yearly. Provide Feedback and recommendations and ensure Buys reflect the analysis.
- Coordinate, assist and work together with internal and external parties to achieve business goals.
- Work cross-functionally and in collaboration with internal and external parties.
