Join our dedicated team in providing comprehensive support to a dementia participant under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This full-time role not only offers the chance to enhance the daily life of our client but also presents significant growth opportunities within our organisation, including potential advancement to a team leader position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver daily one-on-one support, ensuring the client's comfort and safety.
- Engage the client in activities that promote cognitive stimulation and enjoyment, such as music and writing.
- Monitor and report on the client's condition and progress.
- Facilitate community participation and social activities in line with the client's NDIS plan.

**Schedule**:

- Full-time position: 7 am to 7 pm (Monday to Sunday)

**Location**:

- Singleton/Maitland/Newcastle region.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a support role for individuals with dementia.
- A respectful and caring approach to providing support and companionship.
- Completion of or willingness to undertake required NDIS compliance training and checks.
- A desire to build a career in the disability support sector and take on leadership roles.
- Must have your own vehicle and drivers licence

**Remuneration**:

- $40 per hour with opportunities for professional development and advancement.
