**The role on offer**
The Clinical Team Lead will collaborate with the headspace Queanbeyan clinical team and facilitate excellence in integrated holistic health care with the goal of improving outcomes for clients, the headspace Queanbeyan services, relevant stakeholders and the wider community.
The role will contribute to the development of evidence-based and innovative clinical services and will promote the delivery of mental health services that are of the highest quality. The role will also be keenly engaged in clinical and caseload reviews and will actively manage referrals and demand for clinical services. This position will also form and maintain working relationships with key agencies in the community to establish integrated care pathways for young people.
**Who we are looking for**
The successful applicant will be someone who meets the following criteria:

- Possession of tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or other allied health discipline recognised by the tertiary mental health services sector.
- Current full registration ((or a provisional psychologist towards the end of their internship) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years clinical experience in the mental health sector, and able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of recovery focused practice specific to the youth population with a clear understanding and/or knowledge of the concept and impact of mental health issues in the community.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team-based environment with capacity for self-reflective practice and the willingness to undertake supervision
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to impart knowledge in a learning environment
- high degree of computer literacy, including demonstrated experience with report writing and electronic client information management systems
- Ability to undertake intake and screening activities, and conduct risk assessments, including suicide and violence risks, and to develop action plan that that mitigate these risks
- Excellent skills in engaging and working with young people, including those from diverse backgrounds.
