**Dedicated Male Disability Support Worker
- Immediate Start (Mernda)**

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic **Male** Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to our client, a very active and social individual who enjoys staying engaged with his community, fitness, and fun activities.

**About the role**
- Provide support with community access, including going for walks and attending the gym
- Engage in meaningful social interaction and conversation
- Encourage independence and promote wellbeing through active participation in daily routines
- Provide consistent, reliable support while building a positive and professional relationship

**About you**
- Energetic, outgoing, and enjoys an active lifestyle
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to regular shifts
- A strong understanding of the NDIS and participant support requirements
- Previous experience supporting people with psychosocial disability
- The ability to communicate and appropriately respond to the needs of people with disability
- Passion for building strong relationships and rapport with participants
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to complete detailed and accurate documentation

**Requirements**:

- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Manual handling Certificate
- Drivers License
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Legal working rights in Australia

**What you need to do now**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $72.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Manual Handling Certificate (required)
