Monash Health is excited to announce a permanent **Genetic Counsellor** position within its **General Genetics Department**, located at **Monash Medical Centre Clayton**. There is 0.8-0.9EFT at Grade 2-3 available. We are ideally looking for Grade 3 GCs.You will provide genetic counselling to a variety of clients for a wide range of genetic conditions.

**About The Role**

**About You**:

- You have completed a Master of Genetic Counselling Course, with experience working as a GC, ideally in prenatal genetics as well.
- You have a good knowledge and understanding of genetic counselling, including medical, genetic and psychosocial aspects.
- You have demonstrated clinical placement experience in the provision of genetic counselling. You have excellent written and verbal, English communication skills.
- You thrive working in a fast paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary team and are a considerate and collaborative team member.
- You are a proficient computer user, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
- You will also need to have Australian working rights.
