The position is full-time and based at either of our Time Out Sydney or Melbourne offices, with some WFH days and flexibility offered.

We are looking for a talented Ad Operations Lead to work alongside our Commercial Directors. You will have the aptitude to work in a fast-paced, high pressure sales environment and demonstrate the ability to communicate with all levels of the sales team and management.
Advertising Operations is the foundation of Time Out’s media business, responsible for the crucial task of end to end delivery of our digital advertising campaigns. The Lead, Ad Operations role is an integral part of the APAC team, with direct oversight of all ad serving, programmatic and technical campaign delivery related tasks. They will act as the main point of contact for relevant stakeholders to ensure successful campaign executions as well as provide solutions and guidance for technical implementations and troubleshooting.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supporting the Commercial Directors across APAC in managing ad operations and all day to day campaign related trafficking and associated tasks
- Act as lead technical support and ad ops liaison for other Time Out Ad Ops teams (programmatic, creative solutions etc.) and clients
- Manage relationships with multiple ad tech vendors used for campaign delivery and analytics
- Work with Global ad ops leads and business systems teams to create and deploy new policies, best practices, and strategies around ad serving on digital
- Support and manage our team of Campaign Management professionals
- Assist with monthly reconciliation process for all direct campaigns
- Gathering industry information and consistently being on top of digital operational updates and specifications for company developments
- Managing the AU, SG and HK campaigns and helping to resolve any operational and technical issues that arise across Time Out properties
- Working as part of a Global Ad Operations Unit and supporting the growth of Time Out’s digital business across APAC
**Skills & Experience**
- 3+ years of experience in Ad Operations, publisher preferred
- 1+ years managing a team or directly managing projects/processes across multiple departments
- High level of proficiency with GAM and other ad ops core technologies
- Ability to communicate across multiple levels of technical knowledge with ease
- Strong affinity for problem solving with high attention to detail
- Familiarity and insight into market trends and KPIs such as performance viewability, brand safety, yield analysis and audience extension
- Eagerness to lead and be recognized as a stakeholder in multiple facets of the digital business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse with site managers and developers and well as account executives and clients/agencies.
- Preferred knowledge: HTML, CSS, GAM/DFP, Google Analytics, DFP Audience, Google AdExchange (buy/sell side)
- To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time
- To be an ambassador for the business at all times.
