Founded in 1997 from Bookkeeping and Management Accounting roots, Quinlan Consulting has grown divisions across Advisory and Consulting, Management Accounting and Bookkeeping, Commercial training, HR Consulting, Taxation services, and Marketing. Our Marketing division matured through start-up phase in 2018 & 2019 and grew in 2020 and 2021 on the back of Quinlan Consulting’s selection by the State Government and VCCI to deliver mentoring advisory services to Covid affected businesses. Our Marketing division is now pivoting from a narrower digital scope to broader strategic and business focused marketing services whilst needing to maintain the strong digital foundation.
We seek to engage a Marketing Consultant 1-3 days per week to drive the implementation of the broader marketing offering. Working closely with the CEO and Executive Manager of Strategy and Operations, and our Marketing Manager Digital, the Marketing Consultant drives the implementation of the organisation’s broader marketing offering, consulting to our SME client base and helping them grow revenue and build their brands. There is a strong slant on Digital Marketing. Leading the operational level of our marketing team, the Marketing Consultant is responsible for building the team’s technical expertise, interfacing with clients and guiding the delivery of successful marketing outcomes. You would oversee the population and maintenance of the Marketing Knowledge Portal, ensuring it effectively supports the team in successfully transferring key general marketing knowledge, client specific insights and learnings.
We have a high volume of new clients to service from the VCCI program. During this exciting phase, the Marketing Consultant will provide marketing guidance to SME business owners via Zoom. Often the CEO or the Executive Manager of Strategy and Operations run meeting 1 and 4 of 4, and the Marketing Consultant join us for meeting 2 and 3 which are two hours each. Our intent is to inform business owners of marketing opportunities for their business such as booklets flyers, SEO, Google and FB ads, website builds or improvements, guest posting, Outreach, and PR, content and social media, and strategic and relationship marketing. Your second goal is to then roadmap them towards our ability to help them develop and implement these activities post the VCCI funded 8 hours initial support.
You can source expertise from our technical experts as needed. However, you will have a strong conceptual understanding of the above technical areas to ensure their budgets and standard of work remains withing reasonable tolerances. You will have enough technical knowledge to be able to communicate concepts to business owners and steer them to a correct strategy and portfolio of areas to focus on. Your communication and relationship management skills will be critical. You will have a natural ability to soft sell as you encourage them on the roadmap that is beneficial to both the client and Quinlan Marketing long term.
Our ‘Marketing Manager - Digital’ manages the SEO, web development, and campaigns. Within the Marketing Consultant role we are seeking someone with PR, communications, social media, creative design, and Adobe suite type skills. English communication skills and being able to talk with clients at a management level are critical.

**What we are looking for**
- Bachelor or Master level Marketing qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience
- Strong English communication skills & desire to connect and build relationships with clients.
- Experience developing and implementing digital, social, and content marketing initiatives.
- Solid understanding of SEO/SEM PPC Marketing / website optimisation and a proven record.
- Experience developing and implementing digital, social, and content marketing initiatives.
- Experienced with digital marketing such as paid social media, SEO, WEM, Website builds, CRM, Experience with Google Tag Consultant, Google Analytics and Google Ads, GMB, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
