The Mount Monger Operation (MMO) is an expansive tenement package located 50km south-east of Kalgoorlie. Spanning multiple Gold mineralisation styles, this dynamic operation currently includes the Santa Open Pit, Daisy Milano Underground Mine, and the Tank underground Mine. The French Kiss_ Open Pit project is due for re-commencement in the first quarter of FY25, with _several additional _potential Open Pits on the MMO lease, including the Rumbles and Flora Dora prospects. Based initially at the French Kiss project, you will have the opportunity to move to one of our many other projects after completion, either within the Mount Monger operation, or at one of multiple other operating centres. _

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist who is based at Santa, you will have the opportunity to work independently as the most senior Geologist at the French Kiss project. The core focus of your role will be to optimise ore production through clear direction to the mining contractor, overseeing grade control and reconciliation, and to ensure sampling accuracy and high-quality data input into wireframes.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Grade Control Processes - ore spotting, mark ups, sampling
- Complete routine RC chip logging
- Pit mapping and mark up of dig blocks
- Grade control production tracking and reporting
- Provide supervision and instruction to Pit technicians
- Planning and supervision of RC Drill programs
- Production and stockpile tracking from the mine to the mill
- Blast movement monitoring

As a passionate and results-driven professional, you will bring your technical expertise and analytical approach to this dynamic and challenging role. You have a positive attitude and a demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds to achieve project targets.

**In addition to this you have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Geology
- Significant experience in Open Pit gold mining, preferably with some experience in WA
- Good knowledge of mine production and grade control practices
- Working knowledge of Datamine software or alternative 3D modelling package
- Working knowledge of Datashed
- Sound wireframing ability
- Manual ‘C’ class driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

This role is being offered on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth or on a DIDO roster from Kalgoorlie. It offers the opportunity to be part of a small team where you will take ownership and responsibility for the overall success of the operation. You will have the autonomy to make your mark on a mine, whilst having the stability of an established and financially secure company.
