Reporting to the Manager, Property this position is responsible for supporting and leading the delivery of government property acquisitions, providing authoritative advice and support functions in relation to property across the health infrastructure sector. Using project management principles and experience in the property and built environment sector, the role will include the delivery of various health infrastructure projects in acquisition, providing property advice, investigation and feasibility analysis of land.
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is a branch within the Health Infrastructure Division (HID) of the Victorian Department of Health (DH), responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. Our priority is to provide innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions that will ensure our health system meets the needs of all Victorians now and into the future.

Accountabilities
- Maintain submission and project data to ensure accurate information on the status of funds provided to Health Services. Take ownership of data quality and resolve any issues.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
- Answer queries, provide timely advice and take follow up action as required, including correctly redirecting incoming queries.
- Support timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting processes and accurate information for executive reporting and request for data and information.
- Effectively manage program management processes and maintain systems for records management, reporting, contract management and Agency correspondence.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
