**About the Role**
The role is responsible for responding to all booking enquiries including direct guests, trade and group reservations. These booking will range from budget offerings to high-end, all-inclusive experiences.
Key responsibilities of role include
- Creating bookings in a timely and accurate manner, with the highest level of attention to detail.
- Multi-tasking and prioritising the handling of high volumes of enquiries, always delivering exceptional customer service.
- Confidently and empathetically handle and resolve challenging calls following communication guidelines and supporting company policies
- Ability to build successful relationships with guests, trade partners, service providers and key stakeholders both internal and external to the business.
- A team player that actively contributes to the team and collaboratively works with their colleagues to complete tasks and meet goals.
- Self-motivated to develop and maintain knowledge of all properties, information resources, systems, contracted inventory, and key trade partners.
- Confidently upselling and cross-selling inventory and properties.
- Ability to meet and exceed KPI’s and team targets
**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate
- A knowledge of the trade distribution network would be an advantage
- Previous experience working in a similar role within the tourism industry, including managing high-end products and bookings
- Experience in working toward key performance indicators
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can do attitude with ability to use initiative
- Technologically savvy with the ability to operate multiple programs in conjunction with one another
