**Position Information**:
Casula Public School is located in South Western Sydney and has a student enrolment of 780, including 81% who have a background other than English and 29 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. There are 603 EAL/D students and over 50 languages (other than English) are spoken at home. The school has an Opportunity Class, with 30 students enrolled, consisting of 15 Year 5 and 15 Year 6 students.

**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach primary library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues to deliver explicit, innovative teaching across all curriculum areas K-6, whilst promoting critical and creative thinking, digital literacy, and a love of literature.
Capacity to organise, manage and implement a stimulating library learning environment, encompassing the physical space and resources of the library to positively impact Teaching and Learning for school-wide Literacy.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build positive and effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
