Aspect Personnel is working with a local council based in Melbourne's western suburbs to source an experienced Statutory Planner, Band 5/6 for a 3-6 month contract.

You will be required to work from their Planning office 1/2 days per week.

**Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Provide advice to members of the public and Councillors in respect of all statutory processes and timing.
- Communicate clear information and instructions to other planning services team members and other key stakeholders, when required.
- Degree / Diploma or relevant Tertiary qualification.
- A satisfactory level of technical and professional skill to fulfill a Band 5/6 Statutory Planning role.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to use persuasive language and produce high-quality reports.
- Experience using council software would be advantageous ie. Pathways, Trim, MS Teams etc.
