**Role Description/Criteria**

St Francis of Assisi Primary School is seeking a highly skilled Religious Education Leader & Community Partnerships Leader who can lead the faith formation of our community, build the capacity of teachers to implement the RE curriculum. and engage and strengthen relationships between school staff, parents/carers and wider community.

St Francis of Assisi Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

Applicants are asked to demonstrate:

- an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
- a commitment to their own faith, and the faith formation of others
- a contemporary approach to liturgical experiences and social justice in action
- a capacity to lead professional learning, using the RE curriculum and evidence based best practice, for the continual improvement of learning and teaching
- an ability to work collaboratively in a team to build the capacity of others
- an ability to lead the planning of the Religious Education curriculum in the school
- a commitment to work closely with the Parish community
- coordinate the sacramental, liturgical and prayer life of the school
- an ability to develop and lead professional learning for staff
- an ability to liaise, plan and communicate with the Learning and Teaching Team, Leader of Learning and Year Level teams to plan for implementation of the R.E curriculum
- increase the school visibility in the community as supporters and advocates of children and their families in learning, health and wellbeing
- an ability to regularly meet with the Parents in Partnership (Social and Fundraising) to support the planning and coordination of school events that are aimed at bringing the school community together
- review existing partnerships and practices, and collect information on views, experiences and ideas of teachers, parents, school leaders and students
