Flashing Detailer

We are seeking a Flashing & Technical Drawing Specialist to join our team at our Sheetmetal Manufacturing facility in Northgate. This role involves working in an office environment - you will be drawing flashing / sheetmetal templates on a computer in addition to scheduling their manufacture

Position : Full-time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5:15pm (38 hours)

Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate technical drawings and flashing profiles using SWI software.
- Interpret architectural drawings and flashing diagrams and translate them into manufacturable sheetmetal components
- Collaborate with estimators, production staff, and clients to ensure the final product meets specifications
- Maintain organized files and revisions for fast-paced job turnaround
- Keep track of production schedules, completed orders, and any issues or discrepancies during production process
- Work closely with other team members and supervisors, to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines
- Communicate with customers regarding their orders and technical needs

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Experience in sheetmetal or construction-related drafting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs with tight deadlines
- Basic skill in trigonometry

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
