Baker

At L'épi Artisan Bakery, we take pride in the art of baking and creating exceptional baked goods that bring joy to our customers. We are currently seeking an experienced Baker to join our talented team and contribute to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods following established recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in the development and testing of new recipes and baking techniques under the guidance of the head baker.
- Work collaboratively with the baking team to ensure efficient production and consistent product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of baking tools, equipment, and workstations.
- Monitor baking process to ensure goods are baked according to specifications.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
- Support inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying when supplies are low.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to fulfill customer orders and address inquiries promptly.
- Contribute ideas for new products and seasonal offerings to enhance bakery offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Baker in a bakery or similar environment.
- Solid understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and recipe execution.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality baked goods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
