Lotus People are delighted to be partnering with this leading industry association based in the heart of Sydney CBD This organisation plays a key part in it’s industry, working to protect it’s members and support the growth of the sector in Australia. This company provides a range of support for its members including advocacy, research, education programmes and events.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

In this 1 month temporary full time role, you will be providing key support to assist with an upcoming annual conference. You will be providing essential administrative support to the lead of the event as well as hands-on event support on the days of the event. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the full lead up of the event and be involved in a huge variety of tasks, with no two days the same.

**DUTIES**
- Provide administrative support including writing speaker briefs
- Book travel and accommodation
- Coordinate the hiring of equipment and merchandise
- Provide hands on support during the event

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

To be successful in this role, you will be a true team player and someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast moving team environment. You will be a strong communicator and be highly organised, with experience working to tight deadlines. You will have previous experience working in an Events role and able to hit the ground running in this temporary role.
- Previous experience in an Events Assistant role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail
- Collaborative approach and team player
- Strong MS Office skills
