**About the role**

This is an opportunity to join Carrier Transicold where you will benefit from employment stability, progression opportunities as well a range of additional benefits that come with working with a market leader in transport refrigeration.

Based in Eagle Farm, you will cover a geographical area including Brisbane and surrounding areas, and you will offer excellent customer service to a range of clients in mobile and static refrigeration.

The role will involve routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs, service, and maintenance on refrigeration units, across a number of brands. This will also involve working in the field and being on a roster for on call work, although we would consider a technician who wishes to be more workshop based.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will have experience in the refrigeration industry and the ability to work flexible hours as needed including participating in an on-call roster, along with the following skills and attributes:

- A high level of communication skills (oral and written)
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
- Ability to take ownership of problems following through to resolution
- Self-motivated individual who is proactive, professional, punctual, well presented with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised and be part of a close-knit team
- Dedicated to high quality EH&S and Ethical standards

**Requirements**:

- Experience with refrigeration and chiller systems and comprehensive systems and components - those with diesel engine experience will be highly regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in Air Conditioning and refrigeration
- ARC refrigerant handling license is a prerequisite
- Current and valid Australian driver's licence

**We will also look at applicants with the following skills/ trades**:

- Commercial refrigeration
- Diesel fitter / mechanic with automotive air-conditioning skills - would be a bonus
- Automotive mechanic & Auto electrician
- Refrigeration apprentice third year
