**Female Support Worker - Short-Term Community Access (Melbourne, 18-25 Sep 2025)**

National Disability Care (NDC) is seeking a **female** Support Worker for a **one-week-only** community access assignment in **Melbourne CBD**. You’ll support an adult NDIS participant visiting Melbourne to enjoy accessible outings and **evening shows on Fri 19, Sat 20, and Tue 23 September**. Shifts typically fall between **10:00-21:00** (split shifts likely). No ongoing shifts are attached to this role.

**What you’ll do**
- Provide respectful, person-centred **community access** (venues, cafes, shows, CBD activities).
- Assist with **light daily living support** and prompts as required.
- Help with **basic planning**: confirm bookings, accessible routes/seating, and safe return to accommodation.
- Support **transport** as arranged.
- Complete concise, professional **shift notes** aligned to goals/outcomes.

**Must haves**
- **Female** (genuine occupational requirement for privacy/dignity in personal-care contexts).
- Availability for some dates **18-25 Sep**, with **evening availability on 19/20/23 Sep** preferred.
- Current **NDIS Worker Screening Check**.
- **National Police Check** (within 12 months).
- **First Aid (HLTAID011)** current and **CPR** (within last 12 months).
- **NDIS Worker Orientation Module** certificate.
- **WWCC (VIC)** or willingness to obtain.
- Valid **Australian driver licence** and **registered, insured vehicle** (or strong confidence navigating accessible public transport).
- Experience supporting adults with disability in community settings; calm, professional communication; dignity-of-risk understanding.
- Smartphone for rosters, communication and note entry.

**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with **Melbourne CBD** accessibility (step-free routes, venue entry, accessible bathrooms).
- Manual-handling awareness; comfortable in busy environments.
- Willingness to share a relaxed **dinner outing** one or two nights (or help arrange/escort if not dining together).

**Hours & pay**
- **Short-term only**: 18-25 Sep 2025 (estimate **20-40 hrs** across the week, split shifts likely).
- **Rate**:$35.15 per hour** (+ super).
