To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a
**Category Executive Coles** to join our Commercial Strategy team, looking after Coles.

Reporting to the Category Manager, this role supports with analysis, recommendations, insights and activations (with particular focus on delivering range and merchandising objectives through end to end ownership of Customer Range Reviews).

Existing Category experience is essential for this role, either through a direct Category role or a Commercial Customer-facing Sales role, as exposure to range and merchandising tools & processes is necessary for success in this role.

This role is located at our head office in Chatswood, Sydney (with hybrid working arrangements). Due to the location of the customer, travel to and from Melbourne will be required in this role for customer meetings.

This role requires you to visit third party premises (such as customer stores or offices) who require visitors to have an up-to-date vaccination status for COVID-19, therefore you need to have an up-to-date vaccination status for COVID-19 to perform this role.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Ownership of the category range review process across all aisles that we participate in; this will involve the integration of pricing and promotional recommendations within category reviews
- Review category performance regularly; presenting on insights, recommendations, and risks across both internal and external stakeholders
- Assess pre
- and post-performance as well as any impacts on ROI, documenting all learnings
- Develop customer range & merchandising recommendations that unlock category growth
- Cultivate relationships with retailer merchanting personnel

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:

- Strong presentation Skills - the ability to translate data to story
- 2+ years’ experience in a related role within FMCG
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills (Nielsen / Aztec - scan & panel) with the ability to remain organised in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop great working relationships cross-functionally and virtually across both internal and external stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing / Commerce / Economics / Business (or equivalent) with strong communication skills
- An up-to-date vaccination status for Covid-19
