Field Service Coordinator

Komatsu Forklift Australia promote, sell, hire and service the full range Komatsu and OMG forklifts, from powered pallet trucks through to 25 tonne container handlers with niche products also available to ensure that we have the right solution for our customer's needs._

**The Opportunity**:
Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Coordinator to join the Service Department at our Tomago Branch. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this crucial position will be responsible for coordinating, managing & scheduling all field service activities in line with Komatsu standards, policies & procedures. This includes co-ordination of our incredible Technicians, Parts, Contractors & all other relevant parties involved in each job.

As a Field Service Coordinator at Komatsu Forklifts you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. **In this role you'll**:

- Manage technician hours to minimise lost time
- Support Field Service Supervisor in the coordination of work in progress jobs, ensuring invoicing is accurate and any potential disputes are resolved prior to invoicing
- Maintain Warranty Work in Progress and Field Campaigns to ensure 100% of warranty jobs are successfully claimed by achieving all warranty claim KPI measures
- Update customers on job progress and notify customers of any changes to the delivery date of products or services.
- Recognise gaps in training & advise accordingly
- Maintain Work in Progress jobs under 30 days
- Ensure all service department activities meet Golden Rules & HSE standards

**Role Located**:Tomago Branch, NSW

**The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for**:

- Proven experience in a similar coordinators role
- Exposure to earth moving/forklifts service industry (nice to have)
- This role is well suited for someone from automotive industry looking for a change (Service Manager / Advisor roles)
- Availability for afterhours calls
- Customer service oriented and communication driven.
