The Marketing Communication Officer role is a pivotel role in executing the marketing plan. This role is responsible for the execution of all digital and print related communication to members and customers to support the Scouts SA Strategic Plan. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, working 22.5hrs per week, maintaining a work-life balance is achievable Options include working school hours, early mornings or lunchtime start.

**Responsibilities;**
- Execution and delivery of communications plans
- Creating effective and compelling written content
- Copy editing
- Digital communications
- Media Releases
- Blog Posts
- Events and activities presence

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**Skills and Experience;**
- Tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience, in Marketing, Communications or a relevant field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to engage and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to constructively and effectively manage the quality of output
- Creative problem-solving skills and proactive in seeking opportunities for enhancing outcomes

**Essential;**
- National Police Check
- WWCC
- Current drivers licence
