**About The Role**:
Bendigo Kangan Institute is looking for a **People and Culture Business Partner **to join a leading team. Within your role you will be responsible for an interesting, challenging, and varied portfolio. One that includes us People Culture and Strategy portfolio - will encompass communications, strategy, organisational development, organisational safety, and talent acquisition. This position will suit an individual that takes their role seriously but not themselves

Your experience could be from a similar environment, but we are flexible A highly strategic role where you will support the organisational leaders to executive business objectives and deliver solutions, and in turn develop a deep understanding of the current vs future capability needs.

**We are excited about you because you have**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or considerable experience, including knowledge of IR/ER issues, Unions, Workers Compensation, mediation, complex HR issues, workforce planning honed over a number of years and industries
- Previous experience in education sector highly desirable
- A solid understanding of industrial relations landscape and employment frameworks
- Demonstrable experience as a People and Culture team member responsible for the development and implementation of people strategies
- Highly developed influencing, relationship building and customer service skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to deal sensitively with employees, and effectively engage stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through critical thinking and a high work ethic
- Experience with working effectively in teams, including achieving goals by contributing to the integration of resources, processes, systems, people, and policies
- Commitment to service, quality, with experience in change management
- A warm confident and flexible approach

**Things we will require from you**:
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Certified Right to Work document - Passport/Visa/Citizenship or Birth Certificate.
- Certified vocational qualifications and certified transcripts (as listed in Resume and if relevant to the position).
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a valid medical AIR exemption.
