**About the Centre/Service**

Thomastown Childcare & Kindergarten is a 35 place, Community Childcare Centre and Non-Profit Organisation. We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. We have been in operation for over 30 years and managed by a Parent Committee. We have 3 Children's Rooms catering for Babies, Toddlers and Kindergarten which is run by our ECT. We are a small team of dedicated staff who have been at the centre for a number of years. We are a play-based learning centre and committed to providing high quality of care for each child.

**Description**

Award wages apply. Fortnightly rotating roster - Shifts 7am to 4pm & 9am to 6pm Monthly RDO Key Responsibilities: Engage with children in a positive and engaging manner. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs for children Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all children Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard and Child Safe Standards Collaborate with colleagues to support the needs of the children Maintain a clean and organized childcare space. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment We are looking for a Full Time Educator to work in the Nursery Room 0-2-year-old Children.

**Qualifications**
- As a qualified Early Childhood Educator with a passion for educating children and working in a collaborative environment you will be able to demonstrate your professionalism, flexibility and leadership
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check (employer)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Experience working with children is essential
