**About your new role**
Are you a resilient and patient individual who thrives on making the biggest impacts and helping where it counts? We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers to support customers within our Melbourne Region. You will be assisting customers in multiple settings and providing support through challenging behaviours. Our Disability Support Workers assist our valued customers as they shape and improve their lives.
**About our Melbourne Team**
Our amazing Melbourne team provide several activities in and outside of the community to promote an exciting environment for mentoring and creativity like our Social Clubs and weekend camps. Our In-Home Supports provide consistent assistance for our customers while promoting independence and motivation, as a support worker you won’t want to miss this experience.
**About you**
- Demonstrate high levels of expertise in complex support environments including in home support, social clubs and community access
- Provide effective communication and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
- Experience with PEG feeding and medication assistance including epilepsy and diabetes management
- You will have previous experience in complex and challenging behaviours and implementing Positive Behaviourial Support Plans
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations
- You have flexibility to work across a variety of shifts

**You will have the following to qualify for this role**
- Hold a current Working With Children Check
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
- Full COVID-19 vaccinations (proof from MyGov)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Modules certificate
- Open Driver’s Licence
- Working Vehicle and Comprehensive Insurance

We are growing in leaps and bounds and have a requirement to fill 2 Service Leader roles. These roles will be located at our activity centre in Balwyn, Victoria.
You will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager in delivering, scheduling and rostering programs and supports for people living with a disability, to ensure the delivery of high quality, responsive and sustainable supports. You’ll also work closely with our operational teams to ensure cohesive, aligned and seamless service delivery.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
