We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Account Executive to own the relationship with the Australian Taxation Office, to power their transformation setting new industry standards with innovative AI solutions.
**The purpose of the role**
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving digital transfromation with your clients. You will need to develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, deepen customer relationships, and maximize Microsoft's presence across the different rooms of the house. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and leveraging your technical expertise in Cloud, particularly Azure, Azure OpenAI, and IT Architecture to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet the customer's business objectives. Your role is to drive a culture for winning in the team; being customer obsessed first, operating as #onemicrosoft across the multi functional team to deliver market leading solutions for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:
- Understand and address customer business needs, offering insights on joint strategies for long-term value creation. Proactively cultivate relationships across various levels of the customer's organization for alignment and execution.
- Navigate Microsoft systems proficiently, leveraging resources across functions and geographies to maximize customer value. Engage with executive sponsors, product experts, and commercial leaders to ensure comprehensive support.
- Utilise Microsoft and Partner ecosystem to fulfill customer goals. Lead and empower team members while fostering clarity and support for collective success.
- Drive results by understanding digital transformation drivers, identifying opportunities, and accelerating customer moves to the digital age. Demonstrate operational excellence through consistent achievement of revenue and consumption targets.
- Continuously enhance industry and technical knowledge to offer innovative solutions and benchmarks to C-level executives, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner.
- Consider the bigger picture for customers, with conceptual and creative problem-solving skills.
- Foster an inclusive culture within the team, embracing diversity and reflecting the mission to empower every individual and organization. Build trust-based relationships through collaboration and communication.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum qualifications**
There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft.
However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:
- 8+ years experience in driving digital transformation within an industry (e.g. Public Sector) or equivalent experience in consulting or technology sectors.
- Experience engaging and managing relationships with CXO level stakeholders, cultivating strategic partnerships.
- Experience in strategic account management, meeting sales targets and collaborations with partners for optimal business results.
