**Your Next Step**

**Your new role will include**:

- Participating in the planned maintenance program through our computerised management system (MEX)
- Line changeovers and production maintenance
- Responding to and managing breakdowns in a timely manner
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Ensure stoppages, performance issues or breakdowns are rectified in a safe and timely manner.
- Performing routine checks, inspections and preventive works.
- Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP)
- Undertaking preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown response
- Problem solving both immediate and long-term issues

**About You**:
We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our existing maintenance team.
- Commitment to Safe Systems of Work preferably strong safety mindset in all facets of work
- Mechanical Trade qualifications (essential)
- The ability to work autonomously and with mínimal supervision
- The ability to work within a team environment
- High level of organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong experience in similar role in a FMCG environment
- Modification and improvement experience on equipment ranging from automated high-speed conveyors to processing equipment
- Experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems, computerised maintenance systems, and automation (conveyors & sortation systems) is an advantage

Pay: $35.00 - $47.88 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
